The Golden Touch

King Midas loved gold more than anything. One day, a fairy granted him a wish, and he asked, “I wish everything I touch turns to gold!” The fairy warned him, but Midas insisted. The next day, he touched his food, and it turned to gold. He tried to touch his daughter, but she also turned to gold. Horrified, Midas begged the fairy to undo the wish. 

She told him that true wealth comes from love and happiness, not gold. 

Midas learned that greed and desire for riches can lead to losing what matters most. From that day, he valued love and kindness above wealth.
